How I Entered The Top Youtubers List With A Top Rated And Most Viewed Video Status In YouTube Within 24 Hours

Hurray! I am in the Top Youtubers list... Just kidding ;) What I am really talking about is the youtube honors I received for a video which I posted less than 24 hours ago in youtube. Here is the link to the video, it's well worth checking out the video.
I know the reason why you are still reading this post is because you want to know the secret I used to get the top rating and most viewed status for the day. Ok, let me be plain and open, I really didn't plan those honors that youtube awarded me. But, First of all I would like to point out a few things which I believe, caused the video to reach the top rating, because it was the Top Rating of the day honor which I first received for this video. You can see a screenshot which I took soon after I noticed the first honor - Top Rated in India for the day in the category.
I don't know exactly how I received the top rating, but I guess initially, some of the keywords took the video to top placement in youtube search results, resulting in multiple viewers to the video. So, the the first reason should be the keywords. Ok, then how I got the next honour has something to do with some thing I did, after I found the Top Rating.
What I did was, take the screenshot of the youtube honor and post it in my facebook status with the link to the video. Here is a screen shot of the status I posted in FaceBook.
I made sure that I included the link to the video in the status update so that those who see the status post will click through to see what happened. And they are sure to check it out, as most of my friends are sneaky internet marketers. ;) And as they did, what it did was record more visitors in my youtube video status. This resulted in me getting me another Top Viewed for the day honor in youtube. And here is the screenshot of my video with all the honors it rightly deserve... JUST KIDDING...
Here ARE the list of reasons which I believe earned me the two honors in youtube for the video.
1. Title, Keyword and Description of the video, hitting some good keywords
2. The category which I chose for the video (Yes, some categories don't get tons of videos all the time, so the job becomes easier)
3. The country from which I uploaded the video (Since India still doesn't have super fast internet connections, the number of videos that gets uploaded is comparatively less)
4. The likes/dislikes I received for the video (I believe this has impact on the rating)
5. Posting the video link on facebook status (Most importantly doing it within the same day itself)
6. And now posting the video here... ;) Will result in more visitors... Let's get viral...
7. This is in fact the biggest and the real secret which took my video to the top, but I don't want to tell it to you now. (You might've been wondering, why am I giving away all the details, even talking about keywords in the video, am I not afraid of competitors ? The truth is - I don't because of the 7th secret which I believe is the true reason why I got the top rating.)

Glad that you liked the video. Yes but the top list doesn’t always stay, once videos start overtaking your traffic and likes you lose your name in the op spot.

Sandeep, You sure need to include videos i your marketing funnel to stay ahead of the competition. Videos can drive better traffic than Google especially because of the lower competition. Wishing you all success for your videos…

Hello Guppu, Welcome to my blog and thanks for taking the time to comment. Yes if you want to expand your reach, videos are must. Also it’s much easier to rank higher and get traffic to your gideos than it is for textual content. I highly recommend that you take the necessary steps to start creating videos even if it be simple slide show type videos or image videos. Wishing you all success…
